About the Guild

The International Fine Jewelers Guild was founded as a way to recognize those fine jewelry professionals devoted to advancing the prestige of the industry and to maintaining the standards of product and service for which they are known in their communities.

We drew our inspiration from the tradition of the medieval guilds. Those associations of artisans and merchants, from goldsmiths to weavers, were formed to preserve professionalism within their crafts and to assure buyers of quality by displaying the coveted symbol of their guild. The International Fine Jewelers Guild has been established in that spirit.

Guild jewelry members are held to the same level of scfrutiny as the retailers who represent them. Membership in the International Fine Jewelers Guild carries with it the commitment to the following criteria:


Members must be authorized agents of the jewelry brand.
Members must maintain a channel for ethical distribution that respects the integrity of the brand.
Members must have an authorized department for maintenance and servicing of fine jewelry.
